ABRAHAM KOTEI ELECTS AS NEW GBA PRESIDENT

GBA and stakeholders  Decided yesterday for a new leader to lead the Ghana Boxing Authority and is no other person than in the name of Abraham Kotei Neequaye who came out victoriously in the polls 54 over Dr.Henry Manly Spain who grabbed 46 in the polls

       The Congress took place at the Bukom Boxing Arena,Mudor Conference July 22,2021 and it was a beautiful moment as old renowned boxers Azumah Nelson,Ike Bazooka Quartey,Nana Konadu where all in attendance to cast their vote for a new leader that will lead the Ghana boxing to another level.

      Mr Kwame Ampofi Jr who is the Deputy Director General and acting of Teqball technical division of the National Sports Authority made a speech that putting the image of Ghana very high when it comes to boxing,it is the desire of the Director General Professor Peter Twumasi we will get another set of leadership that will sustain that discipline that has been established and they will have leaders that will partner the states they will be there to support and sports authority is grateful in whoever will be accepted as the new leader. 

       New Executive members were sworn in yesterday,Mr Rabbon Dodoo who will take over as the 1vice President,Referee/Judge Roger Barnor is the 2vice President,Mr Laud Acquaye as Treasurer and other 4 executive members Lawrence Carl Lokko,Alhaji Tofiq,Shadraq Acquaye and  Michael Neequaye.

        Dr.Henry Manly Spain says he will now step back for a while and decide really and what to do next says the contestant.

       Abraham Kotei Neequaye who is now the President of the GBA after winning the elections sends a good will message to Lawyer Peter Zwennes whom he will be taking over from is a father to all and he is glad to have work with him before as a 2 vice and surely and he will now take over as the new President and continue the good works he left behind
