Duke Micah Signs Deal With Michael Amoo Bediako and Keith Connolly

Ghana’s Duke ‘Baby Face Assasin’ Micah is set to make a return to the ring after a year lay off. The promising bantamweight (22-0, 18 KOs) has signed with co-managers Keith Connolly and Michael Amoo Bediako, who also co-manage IBF World lightweight champion Richard Commey. Connolly confirmed the news in an interview with ESPN on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Micah has fought his last two bouts in New York when he was with Evander Holyfield’s now-defunct Real Deal Promotions. Connolly said they are aligning Michah with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions and his first bout of the deal will be in August or September. Micah’s last fight was against Thomas Snow in which he won via a split decision.

Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev dies after sustaining injuries during fight

(CNN) - Russian boxer Maxim Dadashev has died in a US hospital after his fight with Puerto Rico's Subriel Matias. The fight was on Friday in Maryland. Dadashev was 28 years old.
